Is this an optional training for my hotel's I Prefer Loyalty Ambassador?

This is a mandatory training required for all Loyalty Ambassadors; however, all hotel associates are encouraged to complete it as well. Our Members choose to stay with us because they expect consistent recognition, rewards, and an elevated experience. When we fall short on training, we risk falling short of their expectations. Completing the certification ensures you have the tools and knowledge to meet their expectations and build trust.

My hotel has multiple I Prefer Loyalty Ambassadors. Is each Ambassador expected to complete the certification ?

Yes, if you have more than one Loyalty Ambassador, each person must complete their own training. This will allow for seamless transition when one is away from the hotel or there are any staffing changes.

How long will it take me to complete the certification course?

We know your time is valuable & we appreciate your dedication to guests and I Prefer Members staying at your property. The course is less than 90 minutes and is broken into short bite-sized videos, making it easy to digest and retain information. Once you start your certification journey, you have 45 days to complete it in full. To support your learning, you can start and stop lessons and pick back up if you need to step away. We'll be here waiting, don't worry!

How will I receive my $25 gift card reward?

As a limited-time offer, those who complete the certification course by September 30, 2025 will receive a $25 USD e-gift card via Tremendous.com, our gift card provider. An email from Tremendous.com will be sent to the address associated with your certification within 7–10 business days, providing instructions on how to redeem your reward.

Does my certification expire, or will I need to renew it?

At the beginning of each calendar year, you will be required to renew your certification. We will notify you when it is time to refresh your knowledge, ensuring you remain fully aligned with the most current I Prefer program standards and best practices.

Will I receive a certificate or recognition of completion?

Yes. Upon completing the certification, you will receive an official I Prefer Loyalty Ambassador Certificate, which you may proudly display or share with your leadership team as a testament to your expertise and commitment.

Am I required to complete the certification again if I transfer to a different participating hotel?

Yes, if you transfer to another participating hotel within the portfolio, you will need to complete the certification again. This is primarily due to your access permissions within PreferredNet.Net.  We encourage you to familiarize yourself with the specific offerings and amenities of your new property to ensure seamless delivery of I Prefer benefits.

What should I know about the translations in the Certification Course?

Some portions of the platform, including the Loyalty Ambassador Certification Course, have been translated using artificial intelligence (AI) technology. While we strive for accuracy, there may be a percentage of errors in the translations.  Learners may switch back to the English language at any time.
